The Friends from Fox Hollow recently went on a group field trip and had a totally terrific time because as you yourself know dear reader, going as a group is always more fun than doing something alone.
Their destination was the land of Barnabas's fore - Bearers in far western, upstate New York.
After an excursion of many miles through wild and uncharted territory, (at least that how Barnabas tells it), the group arrived safely at their destination on the shores of Lake Ontario.
Over the next couple of days they explored and visited, partook of good meals and treats, shopped, did some sight seeing and generally had a great time.

Meanwhile Precious Mrs. Piper visited an arboretum and antique store........
Barnabas the Bushcraft Bear visited a historic location where the humans re-enacted their colonial past.
His favorite was the blacksmith and gunsmith and cabinet maker.
They've returned home exhausted but relaxed and satisfied and look forward their next adventure.
