On this wonderful day, beneath a sky bright with sunlight and azure, blue clouds scuttling by in wandering winds, the meeses and other creatures large and small from Meesylvania gathered in the heart of Fox Hollow to celebrate the stringing of lights on their new community tree—dubbed, Tiny Blue.
Present at this auspicious event were Mayor Mouser and the entire City Hall staff as well as others large and small from all the boroughs of Meesylvania.
While Emmet the squirrel was supervised by Precious Mrs.

Piper and overseen by Felix the Town Crier, the lights were expertly strung around the tree while all in attendance snacked off a variety of cheeses, berries and seeds.
After the stringing of the lights and sumptuous feasting, the little ones were treated to a short concert followed by some of their favorite games including the national sport, Pin the Tail on the Cat.
What a wonderful way to start the Christmas season at Meesylvania.
